Possible issues and solutions
When the digital sign says “no signal”, it is an indication of one of two things:
- The media player is not turned on, or
- The monitor’s source is not set to the correct source that the media player is connected to (e.g. monitor is on HDMI 1, but the media player is connected to HDMI 2).
- In order to turn on the media player: Press the power button on the front of the box (hint: the front of the media player also has USB ports that you can plug a keyboard or mouse into). Once you see that the light is on, wait for about 2-5 minutes for it to power on and boot up.
- In order to reset the media player: If the light is on, hold down the power button for 10 seconds, let go, and the light should turn off. Then wait 10 seconds, press the power button to turn it back on, and wait for about 2-5 minutes for it to power on and boot up.
